Welcome to Broughton Hall High School
A Technology College since 1998, we are aware of the need to prepare our pupils to achieve the necessary qualifications and skills for their adult lives. A wide range of courses at all levels is available with access to the most up to date equipment. A full range of extra-curricular activities is provided to further the aesthetic, sporting and academic talents of each pupil. Through our Community Courses and Family of Schools, we have extended educational opportunities to all ages.

The MFL department at Broughton Hall is proud to celebrate the resounding success of its highly aspirational Year 9 CLIL pupils who achieved grades A* to C in GCSE Spanish this summer. Click on the link above for more information.
Congratulations and well done to Year 13 for their excellent results, which saw an increase in the highest grades with more A*s achieved than in previous years. We are extremely delighted that once again, most students got into their first choice university, including, Leeds, Sheffield, Queen’s College, Belfast and King’s College, London. We are proud of all our girls who have achieved excellent success. This has been due to the hard work and commitment shown by all our staff and most importantly our students. This year’s GCSE results show significant ‘Levels of Progress’ made by all students across the whole ability range, including a significant number of students making 5 Levels of progress.
