Welcome to Broughton Hall High School
A Technology College since 1998, we are aware of the need to prepare our pupils to achieve the necessary qualifications and skills for their adult lives. A wide range of courses at all levels is available with access to the most up to date equipment. A full range of extra-curricular activities is provided to further the aesthetic, sporting and academic talents of each pupil. Through our Community Courses and Family of Schools, we have extended educational opportunities to all ages.
Year 9 Electives' Evening Postponement
After very careful consideration we have decided to delay our Year 9 electives' evening which was scheduled for Wednesday 5th February.
The reason for this delay is the changing nature of the new revised curriculum. We want to ensure that the information we provide to parents and students is the most accurate and up to date possible and therefore the electives' evening will now take place on Thursday 13th March at 7pm.
Broughton Hall High School is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of young people; we expect all pupils, staff, volunteers and visitors to share this commitment. Mrs D Lodge is Lead Designated Safeguarding Officer and Ms S Reid is Deputy Lead Designated Safeguarding Officer. The other named school Safeguarding Officers are Mrs K Barnes, Mrs A Greenhouse, Mrs C Dowling, Mrs P Tyrer, Mrs S Tait, Mrs A Rock and Mrs M Buckley (School Governor). Copies of the school safeguarding policy can be obtained from the school on request.
