Broughton Hall High School
  Welcome to Broughton Hall High School
A Technology College since 1998, we are aware of the need to prepare our pupils to achieve the necessary qualifications and skills for their adult lives. A wide range of courses at all levels is available with access to the most up to date equipment. A full range of extra-curricular activities is provided to further the aesthetic, sporting and academic talents of each pupil. Through our Community Courses and Family of Schools, we have extended educational opportunities to all ages.

Tuesday 2nd September - Year 7 Induction / Years 12/13 Registration

Congratulations to Year 13 on achieving wonderful results posted 26th August 2014
Congratulations and well done to Year 13 for their excellent results, which saw an increase in the highest grades with more A*s achieved than in previous years. We are extremely delighted that once again, most students got into their first choice university, including, Leeds, Sheffield, Queen’s College, Belfast and King’s College, London. We are proud of all our girls who have achieved excellent success. This has been due to the hard work and commitment shown by all our staff and most importantly our students. This year’s GCSE results show significant ‘Levels of Progress’ made by all students across the whole ability range, including a significant number of students making 5 Levels of progress. Broughton Hall High School is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of young people; we expect all pupils, staff, volunteers and visitors to share this commitment. Mrs D Lodge is Lead Designated Safeguarding Officer and Ms S Reid is Deputy Lead Designated Safeguarding Officer. The other named school Safeguarding Officers are Mrs K Barnes, Mrs A Greenhouse, Mrs C Dowling, Mrs P Tyrer, Mrs S Tait, Mrs A Rock and Mrs M Buckley (School Governor).
