  Welcome to Broughton Hall High School
A Technology College since 1998, we are aware of the need to prepare our pupils to achieve the necessary qualifications and skills for their adult lives. A wide range of courses at all levels is available with access to the most up to date equipment. A full range of extra-curricular activities is provided to further the aesthetic, sporting and academic talents of each pupil. Through our Community Courses and Family of Schools, we have extended educational opportunities to all ages.
End of Term and New Term Arrangements
 
School will close for pupils at 12 noon on Tuesday 20 July 2010.
Examination Result Days - August 2010:
Sixth Form Results Day Year 12 & Year 13 - Thursday 19 August 2010 10am - 12 noon
GCSE Results Day - Year 11 - Tuesday 24 August 2010 10am - 12 noon
Students who are away on Results Days and require their results to be posted home should leave a SAE with the Examinations Officer - Mrs Deborah Chantler, before school breaks up on Tuesday 20 July 2010. Students who require their Results to be picked up by a member of their family, must provided a written, signed letter authorising that family member to collect Results on the relevant Results Day.

Year 10 students can access their Edexcel results through the Results Plus website, using their allotted PIN numbers. These were given out to students in April/May 2010. Instructions of how to register on this site are shown below. Results for other examinations will be announced in school in September 2010, through the departments involved. Year 12 will commence registration for courses from Friday 27 August, an additional letter will be distributed to students concerning this.
New Term Arrangements - September 2010:
New Term will commence for Staff on Tuesday 31 August 2010. The introduction of pupils will be phased throughout the week in view of on going building works.
Wednesday 1st September 2010 the following pupils will be in school:
Year 7 from 8.40am till 2.00pm
Year 12 from 8.40am till 3.00pm
Year 13 will register for courses
Thursday 2nd September 2010
Years 7, 10, 11, 12 and 13 in school 8.40am - 3.10pm
Friday 3rd September 2010
Whole School 8.40am - 3.10pm
