| Broughton Hall has been recognised nationally by the SSAT for its achievements in the 2009 GCSE and equivalent examinations. The school was praised for having met three important benchmarks, gaining:-
• 60% or more 5+ A* - C results including English and Mathematics/53.7% or more 2+ A* - C results in Science subjects and 31.6% or more 1+ A* - C results in Modern Foreign Languages
• a value added score of 10 points or more on the % of pupils gaining 5 A*-C results
• a year on year improvement in 5 A*-C results by 15% or more since 2006
