Leavers Celebration
I was very excited to be involved in the first Broughton Hall leavers celebration as it would be the last time the whole of year 11 would be together to celebrate the last 5 years at Broughton Hall. We started planning the event around Christmas time and we had to decide what the colour theme would be, what food we would like to eat, whether we would have a karaoke and key rings etc. I had spread the word around all the girls to inform them that this night would be great and really fun. I also had to collect a class fund secretly from our form teacher so that on the night they would be presented with a gift to say thank you.
When the 26th June came around everyone was so excited for our “prom” everyone had brought new outfits and looked their best. The night was fantastic and everyone really enjoyed themselves, there were special awards that’s where given out and people sang their hearts out on the karaoke. The night turned out a success and everyone loved it, even the teachers! Thank you Miss Park and Mrs Lodge and the whole of year 11 for making it a night to remember. Emily Bauress
