Letting the School Know
If your daughter is ill, please let the school know on the first day of absence.

Ways to let us know

Send a note in with an older sister.

Telephone us on 0151 228 3622. The office is staffed from 8:00 a.m. to 4:15 p.m. (Monday to Thursday) and 8:00 a.m. to 3:45 p.m. on Friday.

At busy times, parents can leave a message on the school’s answerphone.

Fax us on 0151 228 1980.

Send an email to admin@broughtonhall.com.

We will attempt to contact you if your child is not in school and we have not had a reason for absence. It is therefore vital that we have up to date contact numbers on file.

Absent for more than one day?
If a pupil is absent on one day, we will assume she continues to be absent for the same reason on any subsequent days.

Changes at Home/Moving House?
If there are any changes in home circumstances which might affect your child at school, please let us know. Please also let us know if you move house or change your telephone number.

Medical Conditions?
Please notify us of any medical conditions, permanent or temporary, which may affect your child in school, e.g., asthma, allergies, diabetes.
