Comenius 2
The Project
‘Sharing the soul of our schools, increasing our motivation through Music, Drama and Sport’.
The purpose of the Comenius project is to engage students in school life and increase their sense of belonging to the school and European community. It is hoped that engaging students in the areas of Music, Drama and Sport will lead to increased success in all of their studies.
The project will involve students in an intercultural dialogue through Music, Sports, Drama and school exchanges, this will provide students with the opportunity to learn about different cultures and interact with students, teachers and families that they would not ordinarily have the chance to meet.
The outcomes of the project will include a greater sense of team spirit, intercultural competence's, increased self-esteem, and an ability to work in multi-national, linguistically diverse teams. |

Making the Logo
At the beginning of the project it was decided that a logo was required - each school called upon its students to create a suitable logo for the project. Two winning logos were selected by students and staff from our school – these two logos were then entered into a multi-national competition with two logos from each school in the partnership. |
