We will use the latest technologies to provide challenge, pace and rigour for pupils and staff but building on the values of the Sisters of Mercy reflecting fairness, respect and care.
Our building is innovative and challenges conventions but is designed to be flexible to meet the likely demands of the Future. Our lead architect Scott Prisco is the award winning designer of the Microsoft High School of the Future in Philadelphia, which staff and students have visited. We have designed our curriculum to provide connected learning for our young people developing the skills required for the demands of our rapidly changing world."

Broughton Hall is part of the Building Schools for the Future programme which will see the school redeveloped in a £38 million pound project.
The project will create new buildings that will be more accessible and suited for education in the 21st century, new day to day functions will include:
 All pupils will have access to laptops.
Complete wireless environment.
Biometric control system.
Learning Hubs (to accommodate four classes at a time).
Vocational catering centre.
New Music and Drama facilities.
New state of the art Science facilities which include use of the new NAWIS power and data supply system, Broughton Hall will be the first UK school to use this system.
Work is expected to start February 2009 and be completed for April 2010, our contractor for this project is Morgan Ashhurst.
