Broughton won the final of the Girls KS3 Liverpool City Competition against The Blue coat School 4 – 2! The girls played the final at the Echo Arena on Friday 13th February. Liverpool hosted the European Badminton Championships this year, bringing many of the best badminton players in the world to the city!



The girls had received some coaching prior to the final off Gail Emms – Olympic Silver Medallist and managed to meet some players during the afternoon. To have even played in the arena was a great experience, but to manage victory as well was fantastic!

Another sporting accolade for Broughton!
