We believe that, by fostering self reliance, self control, initiative and the ability to make reasoned judgements, our pupils, with God’s help, will develop into caring adults, showing concern for others and contribute much to the development of society in the 21st Century.
Our facilities include a newly opened £1.5m Technology/Arts block, state of the art Science laboratories, a well equipped Gym and a modern Dance Studio. Why not view the facilities on our Virtual School Tour.
In 2002, Broughton Hall was invited to become one of the first 101 Leading Edge Schools nationwide. The programme was established to identify, extend and spread excellence in the secondary sector, in order to support the continued improvement of teaching and learning in schools. As a Leading Edge school, Broughton Hall works in close collaboration with 12 Liverpool secondary schools.
In the same year, the West Derby Networked Learning Community (WDNLC) was established. The network is made up of Broughton Hall, Cardinal Heenan and 10 partner primary schools, and is dedicated to the improvement of standards and opportunities for both pupils, parents and teachers within the cluster. Network schools are linked electronically through the use of Radio WAN technology.
